wrong

In ethics, wrong is the opposite of right. It denotes:

(1) actions which deviate from the standard of morality;

(2) circumstances and conditions which tend to evoke sinful action.

Both in ethics and in law it is used substantively to denote injuries, i.e., acts of injustice.
