A.D. 1373, February 4, was a noble Florentine, who till the age of sixteen led a wild and evil life. At last the grief of his mother touched his heart, and he entered a Carmelite church to pray. Here such a change was wrought in him that he became a Carmelite friar in less than a year. He afterwards was made Bishop of Fiesole, and died at the age of 70.
