A..D. 1317, April 20. In very early years this saint became remarkable for devotion, and after six years siDent in a Dominican convent she became abbess, at the age of fifteen. Her fasting and austerities were very great; she slept on the ground with a stone for a pillow for many years. A convent was built for her near Monte Pulciano by her own people, and there she lived during the rest of her life, working many miracles, and greatly beloved by all around her.
