New Catholic Dictionary – Saints Felicianus and Primus


Martyred in 286. They were brothers, and were tortured and beheaded on the Via Nomentana at Rome. These saints were the first martyrs whose remains were transferred from a basilica outside the walls to the church of Saint Stephen on Mount Celio. Feast, Roman Calendar, 9 June.
