Confessor, Archbishop of Canterbury, died 653. He was probably a Benedictine and came to England with Saint Augustine in 596 or 601. To his inspiration the conversion of the East Angles by Saint Felix is due. Relics in Saint Peter and Paul’s church, Canterbury. Feast, 30 September.
