Confessor, Redemptiorist, born Muro, Italy, 1726; died 1755. Beginning life as a tailor’s apprentice, he subsequently entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, 1749. He was endowed with extraordinary supernatural gifts, and many miracles are now attributed to him. Minor patron of Muro. Canonized, 1904. Feast, 16 October.
