Martyr (1582), died York, England. After the death of his second wife, 1580, he went abroad, and by special dispensation was ordained at Rome. For two years he ministered to the confessors of the faith, imprisoned at York, but was finally discovered, hanged, and quartered. Beatified, 1888.
