Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart


Religious order founded by Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini in the province of Milan, Italy in 1880 for the spread of the devotion to the Heart of Jesus by the practise of corporal and spiritual works of mercy. The order includes colleges, schools, nurseries, orphanages, and hospitals, in Italy, France, Spain, England, United States, Argentina, Brazil, Nicaragua, and China. The mother-house is in Rome, Italy.
