Father Robert Abercromby


Jesuit missionary. He converted Anne of Denmark, queen of James I of England, in 1600, and acted as her chaplain until 1603. For this offense, there was a reward of 10,000 crowns offered for his arrest, which led to him spending the last ten years of his life in exile.
