Fifth of ten children born to Andrea Pedrollo and Angela Clementina Brun. Luigi entered the seminary in Vicenza, Italy in 1902. In 1909 he became the friend of and extensive correspondent with Saint Giovanni Calabria, with whom he later worked extensively. Member of the Poor Servants of Divine Providence. Ordained a priest in the cathedral of Vicenza in July 1912. Taught elementary school for two years. On 24 August 1914 he began work at the Casa Buoni Fanciulli and the Opera Don Calabria, working closely with Saint Giovanni. On 3 March 1955, Father Luigi was chosen Superior General of the Poor Servants and the second head of the Opera Don Calabria. He served in these positions until retirement in 1967, and continued to serve as spiritual leader of the Opera and the Poor Servants for the rest of his life. His Cause for Canonization has opened.
