Butler’s Lives of the Saints – Saint Agathangelus, Martyr


The fellow-martyr of Saint Clement, bishop of Ancyra. His relics, with those of Saint Clement, lay in a church in the suburbs of Constantinople, now called Pera; but were brought into the West, when that city was taken by the Latins.
