(Saint) Bishop (March 20) (8th century) A French Saint, Archbishop of Sens, who resigned his See to retire to the Abbey of Fontenelle, where he prepared himself for the work of a missionary to the Frieslanders. He underwent much persecution, made a multitude of converts to Christianity, and in the end returned to die at Fontenelle (A.D. 720)
