(Saint) Abbot, Martyr (September 11) (7th century) A Benedictine Abbot in Spain, out of hatred of the Christian Faith put to death by the invading Mohammedans (A.D. 630). The Roman Martyrology commemorates him on September 11, Feast of the Translation of his Relics. March 11 is given as the anniversary of his martyrdom.
