Book of Saints – Victor III

(Blessed) Pope (October 16) (11th century) A Benedictine monk and Abbot of Monte Cassino, who under several Popes rendered incomparable services to the Church. He himself was (A.D. 1087) elected to the Pontifical Throne, but passed away five months later. His Relics are enshrined at Monte Cassino.
