(Saint) Martyr (February 17) (4th century) An aged Christian of the household of Firmilian, Prefect of the City of Rome, who, by the order of his Pagan master, was crucified at Caesarea in Palestine during the persecution under Diocletian and his colleagues (A.D. 308).
