(Saint) Bishop Martyr (September 10) (7th century) The disciple and successor of Saint Remaclus, Bishop of Maestricht. He was a Prelate of great piety and of conspicuous ability, wholly devoted to the interests of his flock. While journeying into Burgundy to seek redress for wrongs done to his Church, he was set upon by evil-doers and murdered (A.D. 668). His Relics were enshrined at Liege.
