Book of Saints – Syrus

(Saint) Bishop (June 29) (5th century) A Bishop of Genoa in succession to Saint Felix. He had previously been Parish priest at Saint Romulus (now corrupted into San Remo). He worked many miracles, and after many years of useful Episcopate died regretted and venerated as a Saint by his clergy and people.
