(Slebhine) (Saint) Abbot (March 2) (8th century) An Irish Saint who, migrating to Iona, was elected fifteenth Abbot of that monastery. During his time the “Lex Colombkille” was enforced in Ireland by King Domnhall. Saint Slebhene died A.D. 754.
