(Saints) Martyrs (August 20) (3rd century) Orientals, officers in the Imperial army, burned to death as Christians, with thirty-seven other soldiers, in the neighbourhood of Byzantium (Constantinople) at the beginning of the persecution under Diocletian, about A.D. 290.
