(Saint) Bishop (July 28) (6th century) A Welsh Saint, disciple of Saint Illtyd. He was a monk of Caldey, but afterwards became Abbot of Llantwit. Thence he crossed over to Brittany and, as Bishop of Dole, did great work for Almighty God and for his people. He assisted at the Council of Paris (A.D. 557). He died, and was buried in his monastery at Dole; but his Relics were afterwards translated to Paris.
