(Blessed) (March 18) (16th century) A Spanish Lay-brother of the Order of Saint Francis, wonderful for his piety and virtue. He died in Sardinia, A.D. 1567; and, at the prayer of many princes and great men, Clement XI, after the lapse of more than a century, placed his name among those of the Beatified.
