Book of Saints – Richarius


(Ricarius, Riquier) (April 26) (Saint) Abbot (7th century) A French priest who appears to have passed some time in England. Favoured by King Dagobert, he founded the monastery of Central (Saint-Riquier) near Amiens. He ended his days (A.D. 645) as a hermit in a neighbouring forest.
