(Saint) (March 8) (3rd century) A deacon of the Church of Carthage. He was the faithful attendant of the Martyr Saint Cyprian in his exile and at his trial and execution. Saint Pontius has left us a graphic account of the Life and Passion of his illustrious master. He died after A.D. 260.
