(Saint) Bishop (March 25) (4th century) A Bishop of Laodicea in Asia Minor. He was a zealous defender of the Catholic Faith against the Arians, and on that account was banished into Arabia by the heretic Emperor Valens. Later he was restored to his See, and is by some thought to have taken part in the Ecumenical Council of Constantinople (A.D. 381).
