Book of Saints – Opportuna


(Saint) Virgin (April 22) (8th century) A sister of Saint Chrodegang and Abbess of a monastery near Seez. She died after a life of great piety and self-denial in A.D. 770. The Translation of a part of her relics to Paris has led to her being specially venerated in that city.
