(Saints) Martyrs (November 20) (3rd century) Patron Saints of the city of Turin. They were soldiers in the Theban Legion, massacred as being formed of Christians by order of Maximian Herculeus (A.D. 297). Among those who succeeded in temporarily escaping were Octavius and his two comrades. They reached Turin, but were there seized and put to death. They are specially eulogised in Homilies of Saint Ennodius of Pavia and of Saint Maximus of Turin.
