Book of Saints – Martyrs of Palestine – 28 May


(Saints) (May 28) (5th century) A number of monks who early in the reign of Theodosius the Younger (A.D. 408-450) fell victims to the fury of Arabs and other Pagans invading Palestine. The Palestinian Martyrs of the persecutions under the Roman Emperors from Nero to Diocletian and Licinius are commemorated separately on other days or mentioned as fellow-sufferers with some Christian hero.
