Book of Saints – Martyrs of Corfu


CORFU (MARTYRS OF). (April 29) (1st century) Seven criminals converted to Christianity and to a good life by Saint Jason (or Mnason) a disciple of Our Lord (Acts 21:16). Their names are given as Saturninus, Inischolus, Faustianus, Januarius, Massalius, Euphrasius and Mannonius. They are said to have been put to death as Christians in the Island of Corfu, about A.D. 100, and are known as “The Seven Robber-Saints.”
