Book of Saints – Mark of Galilee


(Saint) Bishop, Martyr (April 28) (1st century) A native of Galilee who coming over to Italy was converted and baptised by Saint Peter. The Apostle sent him as missionary and Bishop into the Province of the Marsi (Abruzzi). There he by his zeal spread Christianity, driving thousands to Faith in Christ, and there in the end he suffered martyrdom (A.D. 92).
