Book of Saints – Maine


(Mevenus, Mewan, Meen) (June 21) (Saint) (7th century) A Welsh or Cornish Saint, disciple of Saint Samson, whom he accompanied to Brittany. He founded there the great Abbey, since known as Saint Meen. He was all his life in great repute of sanctity, and died at a great age (A.D. 617).
