Book of Saints – Libya, Leonides and Eutropia


(June 15) (Saints) Martyrs (4th century) Martyrs of the persecution under Diocletian (A.D. 303), at Palmyra in Syria. Libya was beheaded; Leonides, her sister, died at the stake; and Eutropia, a child twelve years old, was, by order of the judge, made a target of for the soldiers to shoot at.
