Book of Saints – Lasar


(Lassar, Lassera) (Saint) Virgin (March 29) (6th century) A holy nun in Ireland, niece of Saint Forchera. Saint Lasar was in early life placed under the care of Saints Finnian and Kiernan at Clonard. Her name, signifying “Flame,” testifies to the ardent love of her soul for her Divine Spouse.
