Book of Saints – Keyna


(Keyne, Kean) (Saint) Virgin (October 8) (5th century) A Welsh Saint, daughter of Brychan of Brecknock. After a holy life, spent as a recluse in Somersetshire (at Keynsham, so-called after her) she returned to Wales to die. Many churches are dedicated in her honour.
