Book of Saints – Ivo of Huntingdonshire

(Saint) Bishop (April 24) (Date uncertain) A Saint said to have been of Persian nationality, but who is of uncertain history. He came to England, it is alleged, at the end of the sixth century, and lived in Huntingdonshire. Miracles wrought at his tomb bore witness to his sanctity ; and his body was solemnly enshrined in Ramsey Abbey (April 24, A.D. 1001). The town of Saint Ives in Huntingdonshire takes its name from him.
