Book of Saints – Hero, Arsenius, Isidore, and Dioscurus


(Saints) Martyrs (December 14) (3rd century) Martyrs of Alexandria in Egypt, who suffered in the persecution of Decius (A.D. 250). They were burned to death at the stake. But it is related that Dioscurus, a boy, was set free after being scourged, through what old authors describe as a special intervention of Divine Providence.
