Book of Saints – Hermas, Serapion and Polyaenus


(Saints) Martyrs (August 18) (Date unknown) Roman Christians who were dragged by their feet over rough ground till they expired. They were victims of the fury of a heathen mob, infuriated against Christians. It is stated that the fellow-believers of these Martyrs contrived to recover their remains to which they gave in secret honourable burial.
