(Saint) Bishop (March 16) (11th century) A German of noble birth, some time Chancellor to the Emperor Otho III. He was elected Archbishop of Cologne and distinguished himself by his zeal for Church Discipline. He built and endowed the Abbey of Deutz on the Rhine, worked many miracles, and died famous for his holiness (A.D. 1021).
