(Saint) Widow (May 1) (4th century) A holy woman of Bergamo in the North of Italy who, having had the consolation of bringing to the true Faith her husband and her parents, after the death of the former, devoted herself to the doing of good works. She was especially zealous in securing Christian burial for the bodies of the Martyrs. She passed away August 27, A.D. 305.
