Book of Saints – Gowan


(Govan, Goven, Cofen) (Saint) (December 28) (5th century) The wife of King Tewdrig of Glamorgan. The parish of Llangoven takes its name from her; and a chapel in Pembrokeshire is likewise dedicated in her honour.
