Book of Saints – Fugatius and Damian

(Saints) (January 3) (2nd century) These, otherwise written Phaganus and Derivianus, are the names given in the Roman Breviary to the missionaries sent to Britain at the request of King Lucius by Pope Saint Eleutherius. They must have exercised their Apostolate chiefly in South Wales, where churches are dedicated in their honour. Glastonbury Abbey laid claim to the possession of their Sacred Relics.
