Book of Saints – Fortunata


(Saint) Virgin Martyr (October 14) (4th century) A Christian maiden who bravely endured torture and death at Caesarea in Palestine (A.D- 303) in the persecution under Diocletian. Her relics are venerated at Naples, whither they were translated in the eighth century. Her three brothers, Saints Evaristus, Carponius and Priscian, suffered with her.
