(Saint) Abbot (February 17) (6th century) A sixth century Leinster Saint, founder of the monastery of Cluainedhech (Clonenagh) in Queen’s County, famous for the gifts of prophecy and miracles, and for the strict discipline in which he brought up his disciples, among whom is said to have been Saint Comgall of Ben-Chor.
