Book of Saints – Finnian – 7 April


FINNIAN (Saint) Abbot (April 7) (6th century) Born in Munster, as a child, Saint Finnian was gifted with prophecy and wonderful miraculous powers. He became a disciple of Saint Brendan, and at his wish founded and governed a monastery at Kinnitty, of which place he is Patron.
