Book of Saints – Felix, Fortunatus and Achilleus


FELIX, FORTUNATUS and ACHILLEUS (Saints) Martyrs (April 23) (3rd century) The Apostles of Vienne in France, whither they were sent by Saint Irenseus of Lyons, Saint Felix being a priest and Saints Fortunatus and Achilleus deacons. From a humble lodging wherein they lived a life of much penance they evangelised the town, converting many to Christianity. In the end they were imprisoned, and after cruel torture put to death for the Faith, A.D. 212.
