Book of Saints – Facundus and Primitivus


FACUNDUS and PRIMITIVUS (Saints) Martyrs (November 27) (4th century) Spanish Martyrs, the sons of Saint Marcellus the Centurion, also a Martyr, said to have been put to death under Diocletian about A.D. 300, by order of Atticus or of Dacianus, Judge in Galicia. More probably however their martyrdom took place as early as the middle of the second century in the time of Marcus Aurelius.
