Book of Saints – Eustratius, Auxentius, Eugene, Mardarius and Orestes


EUSTRATIUS, AUXENTIUS, EUGENE, MARDARIUS and ORESTES (Saints) Martyrs (December 13) (4th century) Martyrs under Diocletian (A.D. 302 about) at Sebaste in Armenia. Eustratius was burned to death in a furnace; Orestes roasted on a gridiron; the others done to death in various manners. Their relics are venerated in Rome in the Church of Saint Apollinaris.
