Book of Saints – Domnio – 28 December

DOMNIO (Saint) (December 28) (4th century) A saintly priest, member of the Roman clergy in the latter half of the fourth century. Saint Jerome, who dedicated to him some of his works, styles him “a most holy man, the Lot of our times,” and Saint Augustine speaks of him as “truly, a most holy Father.” Popular veneration no doubt canonized him immediately after his passing to a better life, and secured him a place in the Roman Martyrology.
