DOMANGARD (DONARD) (Saint) (March 24) (5th century) The Patron of Maghera (County Down, Ireland), who in the time of Saint Patrick lived as a hermit on the mountain now called after him Slieve-Donard. He seems to have passed away some time before A.D. 500, perhaps even in the lifetime of Saint Patrick, who died A.D. 464.
