Book of Saints – Dionysius of Augsburg


DIONYSIUS of AUGSBURG (Saint) Bishop, Martyr (February 26) (4th century) Venerated as the first Bishop of Augsburg in Germany. He is said to have been converted to Christianity, baptised and later consecrated Bishop by Saint Narcissus. He suffered martyrdom under Diocletian about A.D. 303.
