Book of Saints – Daniel – 31 March


DANIEL (Saint) (March 31) (15th century) A Camaldolese monk at Venice, a German by birth. He was murdered by robbers (A.D. 1411). He was a man of almost continuous prayer; and while still in the world remarkable for the sacrifice he made of all his property in order to alleviate the misery of the poor.
